White Rice | Cuticle Balm

Apply a small amount of cuticle balm onto cuticle and base of nail area for all fingers, then gently massage the balm in. Use 2 to 3 times a day, or as often as needed, to keep nails strong and flexible, and to promote growth.

It's lanolin-free but moisturizes just as deeply thanks to pomegranate sterols, and also beeswax-free, making this a vegan formula. With jojoba and tsubaki oils, cupuaçu and kokum butters, and sunflower and candelilla waxes, this balm is moisturizing and nourishing and perfect for those who prefer something a little thicker than cuticle oil.

For super moisturizing power, use our Cosmic Cuticle oil first, then apply a layer of balm on top to seal it all in. Do this right before bed and wake up to moisturized and soft cuticles!

Moisturizes the nail area deeply

• Jojoba oil, known as THE powerhouse moisturizer for nails, penetrates deeply and absorbs easily without greasy residue since it mimics the skin's natural sebum, while also being rich in vitamins A, E and D, plus antioxidants, fatty acids, and flavanoids.
• Tsubaki oil, known officially as Camellia Japonica oil, is often used in Japanese haircare as a luxurious moisturizing ingredient that is high in antioxidants and can reduce trans-epidermal water loss (TEWL)

A excellent vegan lanolin alternative

• Lanolin is known for its superior moisture retention abilities, however many people are allergic to it (and other sheep's wool products) and it is also an animal-by product which makes it non-vegan. So, we use pomegranate sterols instead.
• Pomegranate sterols are lipids extracted from the seeds of the fruit that can increase hydration by holding more than double its weight in water, help enhance the skin's moisture retention, and support the barrier, just like lanolin, but it's plant-powered instead!

More occlusive than just cuticle oil

• Some people find that cuticle oil is either too runny and doesn't stay put, or just isn't moisturizing enough. Our formula includes two vegan waxes, sunflower and candelilla, to give the balm structure and to also seal in the moisture by creating a protective barrier to prevent water loss.
• Cupuaçu and Kokum butters are also present, lending their emolliency and richness to aid in the prevention of skin drying out
