Tang Yuan is our take on the traditional dessert eaten during the Chinese Dongzhi (Winter Solstice) Festival. This festival celebrates the longest night of the year and then the victory of light over darkness as the days will start to get longer after Dec 21(ish). Tang Yuan consists of glutinous rice balls filled with red bean paste, served in a sweet ginger infused soup. It is a traditional food eaten during Dongzhi that symbolizes reunion and eating together with family. 50% of proceeds for this cuticle oil will be donated to the National Queer Asian Pacific Islander Alliance (NQAPIA), an organization that is struggling to keep their doors open due to losing funding. Your contributions will help them continue grassroots leadership, national advocacy and creation of spaces for queer and trans Asian American Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islanders (AANHPI).
Old Haunted Books was Hint's submission to a collaboration called Little Lacquer Box. It was part of the "Halloween Vibes" August 2026 theme and is now available for purchase here on our site. It smells like walking into an old dusty library or study, filled with piles of books and scrolls written with feather quills and ink. These books have certainly seen better days.

Milky Way Mango is our take on one of our founder's favorite desserts: Mango Sticky Rice.
